I've done some wacky travel in my time, but that itinerary's up there.
I think the interviews went well, considering they were my first job interviews in at least 15 years. Don't feel like I crushed them, but don't feel like I choked either. Unfortunately, I got the one answer I didn't want: "We'll let you know".
They assure me that's not 'no', that there was no way they were offering the job on the spot regardless of how the interviews went, and that they would definitely have told me flat out 'no' if that was the case. So fair enough. Within a week, I'm told. Patience is not a particular strong suit, so here's a good opportunity to work on that.
Overall it was a pretty fun/cool experience. I have so much respect for the brand, it was neat to meet the people behind it, see headquarters, etc. Everybody was super nice, and what I saw of the Isle Of Man I liked plenty well. Regardless of whether I end up working there, I'm really glad to have had this experience. Epic itinerary and patience-testing, notwithstanding.
